Introducing Habanero

Habanero is a 1987 55' Hatteras convertible sportfisher. We bought her in December of 2008 and are in the process of bringing her from her homeport of Norwalk, Connecticut to Florida where she will be loaded on a freighter and shipped to Ensenada, Mexico after the first of the year with a final home port of San Diego, California. Habanero saw a complete restoration including topsides, engine overhauls, custom mahogany interior, all headliner, fabrics, wall coverings replaced throughout. The galley has granite countertops and Subzero drawer refrigerator plus a stainless steel galley. She has a pulled together look like no other Hatteras. In 2006 she received a gleaming white on white paint job. Habanero is fully equipped for tournament action with pipe welders full tower, underwater lights and cameras, tuna fighting chair, Eskimo ice maker to keep the catch fresh. There is a mid ship master suite with queen size bed and private head. To port is a bunkroom with ensuite head and two bunks in the V area with a private head. The salon sole is entirely Mahogancy strip plank. The salon features matching Mahogany paneling, window trim, and settee base. It comes equipped with a 31" Sony flat plasma television, KVH Satellite Tracvision (television) and a Nera satellite phone.
